Up till now
Over the last two years, Exchange has worked intensively with the Tanzanian Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) in the Kigoma region. To enhance the creation of an enabling business climate, a partnership was established between Exchange, TCCIA, Bank of Africa Tanzania and Private Agricultural Support Trust- PASS. This structural economic partnership focuses on:
- Professionalize the services of TCCIA
- \Making banking services accessible to SMEs in Kigoma
- Combining banking services with business support
- Maximum cooperation within local partners
After many months of intensive preparations, this program was launched in mid-July. An intensive training week, guided by experienced trainers from PASS, marked a first important step towards bankable investment proposal for growth SMEs in the region.
We look forward to the next steps in which Bank of Africa, the bank partner in the program, will train the entrepreneurs on developing realistic and bankable investment plans.
