Technology as a tool for growth
Clo Willaerts, an Exchange expert for over several years now, took up the challenge of supporting Quake Advertising in March 2019. As a media professional with extensive knowledge in internet business, strategic thinking and thorough expertise in online media, Clo is the perfect coach to support Quake Advertising in their growth.
In April Clo went to Kigali for a few days to work closely with the Quake team. The main purpose of Clo's visit was to identify Quake's most urgent needs. Based on this identification a solid growth programme was designed. Moreover, Clo developed a "Quake playbook" with the employees, a kind of brand guide for new employees. The purpose of this is to immediately get new employees involved in the "story" of Quake and what Quake stands for.
On top of that, Quake employees were treated to an interactive workshop on digital marketing strategies, best practices and how to develop online advertising services.
The interaction between Clo and the Quake team did not stop with her departure from Kigali. Since her visit in April, both parties have had monthly contact during the 'brand chat sessions' that Clo has developed for the team: during these 'brand chats', Clo and the employees are in direct contact via facetime, on which she gives a life webinar about a specific topic such as social selling, setting up a 360 agency, etc. There is also a private Facebook group, called 'mobile studio', where the Quake employees can ask questions directly to Clo and where all kinds of useful information is exchanged.
It must be no surprise that the commitment of our coaches goes far beyond a one-off training on site. We look forward to what Clo still has in store for Quake advertising!
