Uganda
Most entrepreneurial country in the world!
Uganda is often known for its turbulent past in which especially the North of the country was heavily plagued by battles with the notoriously known Lord's Resistance Army. It is in this region where children were ruthlessly torn from their families and transformed into child soldiers.
But make no mistake, Uganda is nowhere near the country of more than 20 years ago. It rapidly transformed into one of the fastest growing economies in the world (predictions even claim that by 2026, Uganda will be the second fastest growing country in the world) and the growing middle class offers a growing consumer market.
Above all, Uganda wants to be a "safe haven" for residents but also for investors. Its central location in the economically developing East Africa makes it an ideal logistics hub for the region. As an landlocked country, the government is therefore fully committed to building infrastructure to live up to its reputation as a logistics hub.
Its liberal policy even ensured that the country was voted the most entrepreneurial country in the world twice, in 2015 and again in 2017! Meet our Uganda team and discover why they believe in Uganda as a growth market of the future!
