Case Employee Mission

Our African partner Satemwa, a sustainable tea company in Malawi, gained the interest of the Belgian company QuontinuIm. Quontinulm, which specializes in consultancy on food safety and certification, sent its business manager Bart Bosch to Malawi to carry out an employee mission. Bart performed a mock audit at Satemwa. This turned out to be a very useful exercise, the weak points and shortages that emerged during the audit now form the starting point for setting up improvement processes within the tea company.

For Bart it was an extremely enriching experience that allowed him to apply his expertise in a completely new context for him. It allowed Bart to approach problems in a more creative way, an experience that he takes with him today during his professional activities! But the mission was also a huge eye-opener on a personal level. Thanks to the immersion in Malawian culture, Bart got a broader and deeper view on the world!
